We're onto the 10th edition already (somehow). I really appreciate you being here and am certainly questioning how it's been 10 weeks already. 

Without further ado, below is your one quick tip on marketing and revenue growth for your ecommerce business.

You've launched your brand; your audience loves it, and Product #1 is flying!

So what the heck do you release next? 

Rather than guess, let's ask our existing customer base.

And get some additional sales while you're at it. 

 

What's a little weird and wacky about this survey? 

Chat-GPT4 came up with 95% of it.

Including that Welcome Screen you see up above.

AI is a topic for another day if you're interested – I know there is a LOT of hype and noise right now. 

But here are the questions I sent out Friday to 45,445 kind souls.

 

My Objectives:

  • Understand who my customer is
  • Determine what the brand is doing well 
  • Determine where the brand is coming up short
  • Figure out what product(s) my customer wants to see next
  • Incentivize a future purchase


I will preface this by saying this works damn well with a group of loyal, evangelical, brand-loving customers that you take care of.

Take care of your people, people. 

You'll get some cracking, thoughtful and insightful responses that can be wildly profitable and fulfilling when you do.

This is by no means a perfect survey, but it's already given me clarity on which products to release next, along with some bleeding obvious areas where the brand is letting folks down.

It doesn't hurt that sales are up 160+% either. 

Sean Wilkins over on Twitter also gave me ideas for segmenting in the future that I completely overlooked (it likely cost me a few thousand not doing this yesterday). But hey, our customers are happy!

And no, I don't typically disclose the name of this brand in "public" for a few reasons – the main one being that me and my outsourced team receive death threats for being in this market. Wild times. (Those of you that have been in BRND Labs for the last 2 years have seen that craziness first-hand.)

It's also the reason behind the new brand I'm toying with – a brand I can have much more fun with in public! 🏝️
